Shipping Policy


Because of COVID-19 Safety Requirements orders are shipped up to five business days after receipt. Bibles requiring customization may take an additional day. During the 2020 Christmas Season we anticipate that there may be delays in deliveries through USPS and FedEx. For International shipments we do not include any import duties or local taxes. See "Shipping" below to estimate how long your delivery will be.

For payment we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Amazon Payments, and PayPal through our secure on-line shopping cart system or by telephone to 1-800-214-1826. If you want us to charge your card by telephone we use a secure remote terminal provided by

Credit Cards, Amazon Payments and PayPal transactions are charged automatically when you order using our Internet site. We use a fully certified and secure shopping cart system and credit card gateway charging system through If you place an order by telephone we enter your credit card data directly into a secure virtual terminal. No record of your credit card data is kept anywhere in the Discount Bible facility or Internet site. We do not make or keep any paper or electronic copies of your credit card data.

We occasionally accept orders with payment by $US paper checks or Money Orders. In this case we will wait to receive your check or Money Order before shipment. If we do not receive your check or Money Order within 3 weeks we will cancel the order. For churches and other organizations that have established an excellent payment record we may ship before we receive the check or Money Order. We do not accept check payment from banks outside the US.


We ship by Federal Express (FedEx) and the US Postal Service (USPS). When you enter your order and address information, but before payment, our Internet shopping cart system communicates automatically with the USPS and FedEx Internet databases to bring back actual shipping costs. Depending on the shipping method we may add up to $1 to these rates for packaging and other handling costs.

Please Note: If you use a PO Box, APO/FPO Address or a US prison address and select FedEx shipping we will ship by the US Postal Service, at our discretion. Media Mail shipments to Military locations travel by surface (truck and ship), can take one or two months and usually cannot be tracked past the last non-military post office. 1st Class, Priority and Express Mail Military shipments travel by air and are delivered quickly.

  • Free US shipping on most orders above $50.00 (US Only) is by US Postal Service (USPS) Media Mail and the estimated delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks after the shipping day for the mainland US. Hawaii and Alaska can take 2 weeks longer. Faster free shipping and sometimes free International shipping is available on some products when shown in that product's description and the shipping options shown at checkout.

  • When you check out of our secure shopping cart you will see all the shipping options available to you and their cost.

  • US delivery times, after the shipping day: Media Mail - 1 to 2 weeks, Priority Mail 1-3 business days, Priority Mail Express - 1 or 2 business days to most locations; 1st class mail 1 to 5 business days.

  • FedEx Ground shipping rates will be lower if delivery is to a non-residential address. When you checkout and delivery is to a non-residential address please add the name of your Church / Company or Other Institution to get this lower rate. The FedEx Ground transit time map can be seen from the link at the top of every page on our site.

  • For those countries that accept the service, USPS Global Priority Mail delivers to the local country postal service in up to 10 business days, after the shipping day, but is often quicker. Transit times within each country are variable and some countries do not scan packages to allow full tracking. USPS Global Priority Express Mail delivers to the local country postal service in 2 to 5 business days.
  • Shipping notice email with tracking links are sent automatically for every shipment. If you do not receive a shipping notice please check your SPAM or Junk folder. You should make sure that is recognized by your email system as a safe "sender". If you have spelled your email address incorrectly when checking out you will not receive any of our emails.

    Please Note: Our International prices and shipping rates do not include in-country customs duties or other taxes.

  • We do not ship to countries where Internet purchasing fraud is a major problem or where trade is restricted by US Regulations.
