General Concept: The QuickVerse Mobile CD's contain a folder with the main application file and the book files for the particular edition you purchased. You can use your own synching software to pick and choose which of these book files you want to place on your Mobile device.

Due to limitations in RAM on your device, you may have to use this method for a successful installation. If you do not have adequate RAM available on your device, follow the appropriate set of directions listed below.

PocketPC Directions:

1. Open ActiveSync and click on Explore
2. Browse to the Program Files folder
3. Create a new folder called "QuickVerse". The resulting path should look exactly like this:
   \Program Files\QuickVerse
4. Create a new sub-folder named "QVBooks". The resulting path should look exactly like this:
   \Program Files\QuickVerse\QVBooks
5. Browse to the appropriate folder on the QuickVerse Mobile CD
   • Platinum: D:\QuickVersePlatinumPPC
   • Deluxe: D:\QuickVerseDeluxePPC
   • Note: If you downloaded the program and do not have a CD, please contact Customer Service.
6. Highlight and drag the main application file [QuickVerse.exe] to the QuickVerse folder you created in step #3
7. Now browse to the QVBooks sub-folder on the QuickVerse Mobile CD
8. Highlight and drag the book files [*.dtp and *.stp] to the QVBooks folder you created in step #4
9. NOTE - You must include these books for minimal functionality:
   • [AMGEnc.dtp]
   • [Thesaurus.dtp]
   • [QuickVerse_Help_PPC.stp]
   • At least one Bible
   • At least one Commentary
   • At least one Devotional
   • At least one Dictionary
10. Close down ActiveSync
11. To start QuickVerse on your PocketPC device, browse to this folder: \Program Files\QuickVerse and tap on the QuickVerse.exe icon. (You will have to manually create a shortcut to this program file if you want to start it from the Start Menu.)

Palm Directions:

1. Open the synching program that came with your device. (For Palm products, use the QuickInstall program link located in the Palm Desktop program.)
2. When asked which files you want to synch, browse to the appropriate folder on the QuickVerse Mobile CD
   • Platinum: D:\QuickVersePlatinumPalm
   • Deluxe: D:\QuickVerseDeluxePalm
   • Note: If you downloaded the program and do not have a CD, please contact Customer Service.
3. NOTE - You must include these books for minimal functionality:
   • [QuickVerse.prc] - Program file
   • [AMGEnc.pdb]
   • [Thesaurus.pdb]
   • [QuickVerse_Help_Palm.pdb]
   • At least one Bible
   • At least one Commentary
   • At least one Devotional
   • At least one Dictionary
4. Close the synching program
5. Open your Palm device and browse to the ALL category
6. The QuickVerse icon should appear in your program list
